All projects require creativity; this one was no exception. Volvo required the look of many different regions (countries) to all be shot in San Francisco — Yes, you can do that in San Francisco. It was very similar to the Global BASF campaign I was to scout a year later, and knowing San Francisco as I do, it was a natural for me to understand the needs of the project. Working with the producer Ricardo Capdepont and German photographer Anatol Kotte on the campaign was an absolute creative pleasure.
