A wonderful time scouting for Vincent Laforet.
The project for Qualcomm was to find common areas – public spaces in San francisco. Vincent was interested in shooting with the Scheimpflug principle of focus plane. Which basically means to have the foreground and background out of focus.
Vincent had been working with a lens, Canon camera makes that allowed such control. He shipped his lens to me so I could scout shooting with the Scheimpflug principle, it was alot of fun to scout this way.
I also helped set up the permits, which involved SF Parks and Rec, The Port of San Francisco as well Muni.
