Scouting the streets of san francisco with levis

Working with The Custom Family and Larry McCuddren was an absolute dream, well organized with a great team with a nice sense of humor.
I worked as part of the scouting team as well managed the permits throughout the city, adjusting details on the fly sometimes as the shoot evolved by the minute.
The Levis campaign was called The Modern Frontier, conceptualized by Levis Global Creative Director
Len Peltier. Len was the lensman for both stills and motion.
As a team, Larry and Len have a very fluid but tight production style, a complete joy to be around. We had many Tech Scout walking around various parts of San Francisco looking for less iconic views, but still classic San Francisco. It was a real treat to work on such a creative project with clear vision.
Check out the stills and videos on
The Custom Family website, it is a refreshing authentic view of youth and freedom.
