Michael Kors

Scouting by:

On the Road with the michael kors team

Boy! Where to start? — How about: this was a very big project.
The concept was about a few ladies flying into town on their private jet and driving around town, shopping, visiting the sites in a convertible Maserati.
I handled location scouting, the tech scout, permits and location management as well recommended the cater, I also scouted private jets and where to land them.
I had the pleasure of working with Regan Cameron the photographer, a complete gentleman and excellent lensman as well Gabe Hill’s production company ge-projects. Working with Lisa Greco, a ge-projects producer to produce the job — She is a real pro and can certainly keep a production on course.
We worked over the course of a week or so, based at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, which worked out perfectly for everything from special rooms set up for wardrobe changes, onsite locations and easy access to the many parts of the Bay Area we shot in, as well as the streets right out the front door of the Fairmont.
We had days of battling rain and almost calling the shoots for the day — but with my eyes glued to the forecast minute by minute we managed to get great shots.
Truly an amazing production and team to work with.
